Thank you
Things of Heaven is next on my Legacy Artists purchase. I recently picked up Hope – Petra and Dragonfly – The Choir. Years of life experience have led both bands/ministries to pen some of the best lyrical and musical content in their resumes. They show a depth of Biblical inspiration few get a chance to experience in today’s hyper-commercialized CCM/P&W industry; ad I highly emphasize the word “INDUSTRY.” in that last statement, because the current state of CCM is devoid of any soul in its presentation of what should be considered Biblical art, worship, and ministry. My next purchase will be Phil’s current release as it also showcases a side of Phil not seen for some time and that’s a very vulnerable artist pouring out his heart in both word and instrument with a voice that is just now starting to show some of the signs of a life filled with the strain of days and years gone by. Phil has indeed offered us another gift of his incredible talent shaped by an introspection few artists can render into actual Biblical Art!
Blessings and Shalom!
