Jerry,
Just read your article on Red State about the 77s. I want to thank you for featuring them! I am 61 years old and became a Christian in the mid 70s. At that time I was into all of the Heavy metal and Prog bands of that era. I still listened to those bands until I began to find the Resurrection Band, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Daniel Amos, etc. But the 77s became my all time favorite band and even after all these years it still is. I have never gotten tired of listening to their music. I love the Christian Rock music of that era and I still listen to it. I have always felt alone because I haven’t found many, if any who have a love for these groups so I am so glad to have found your site and a fellow lover of this era of Christian music. The 77s even now deserve all the publicity that they can get, even only a few still know about them their faithfulness to the Lord after all these years is a true testimony. THANK YOU!! – Walter
